Day 1: Arusha

On arrival at the airport, meet our experienced guide. You will then be chauffeured via the bustling town of Arusha to Lake Duluti Lodge Arusha Coffee Lodge a perfect haven hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations. Overnight at Lake Duluti Lodge.

Day 2 & 3: Lake Manyara (Manyara Ranch Conservancy)

Breakfast and time to enjoy a little of the fresh ‘plantation’ air before leaving by safari vehicle for Arusha domestic airport for your scheduled flight to Manyara. The next two days introduces a whole new dimension of exclusivity.
Interaction with the ranch’s resident and migratory animals has been well thought out and it is possible to drive – both on and off road – accompanied by one of the ranch ‘spotters’, or to walk with an armed guide both early mornings and late afternoon, to stay out at sundowners until dark and then do a night game drive in the ranch’s open vehicles or to do a half day horseback safari. There are also a number of dams on the ranch, which are a magnet for animals and birds, with hides and viewpoints to provide excellent vantage points. Overnight at Manyara Ranch

Day 4 & 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This morning after an al fresco breakfast, you will be transferred to Manyara airstrip. You will be collected at Manyara airstrip and driven with fellow guests to &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. (approx. 1 and a half hour road transfer). You will explore the crater this afternoon. Linger for two nights in a sumptuous suite at &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Your stay is on a full board basis, including game drives on the Crater floor and park fees.

The Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania is all about the game experience. Activities to take part in are thus, centred around the wildlife and the magnificent surrounding wilderness. Day 6, 7 & 8: Serengeti National Park (South Serengeti)

Return to Manyara Airstrip, where you will board your morning flight to Ndutu airstrip. Your guide from Serian South will be at the airstrip ready to take you to camp.

This is exactly where you want to be to see the great wildebeest migration. Serengeti National Park (3,646,500 acres) is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania’s protected areas with over three million large mammals roaming its plains. It lies between Ngorongoro and Lake Victoria and adjoins Kenya’s Maasai Mara. The Serengeti has come to symbolize paradise to all, including the local Maasai, who have grazed their cattle on the vast grassy plains for generations. To the Maasai, it is Si ringitu – “the place that stretches on forever.» Overnight at Serian Serengeti South

Day 9 & 10: Serengeti National Park (Moru Kopjes)

Today you will be transferred to Dunia Camp on a flight departing Ndutu at 9:20 AM and arriving at 10:30 AM, also in the Serengeti but in a different area. You will notice a change in landscapes.

Game drives from Dunia Camp are unlike anything else in the Southern Serengeti due to the prime and private location in the Moru Kopjes. Dunia Camp gives you access to the best that the southern and central Serengeti has to offer: the Ndutu area, the southern plains, the Moru Kopjes and the central Serengeti valley. Typically, the Great Migration congregates on the southern Serengeti plains in the December to March period, to give birth to a next generation of wildebeest and zebra. Lucky guests may spot the rare black rhino in the Moru area. For the culturally interested – Moru Kopjes is home to colourful and mysterious Maasai rock paintings. Overnight at Dunia Camp.

Day 11: Arusha – Departure

Wake up at sunrise for your last game drive; who knows, you may see some wildlife that you hadn’t seen before. Return to the camp and collect your bags and transfer to the airstrip for your Scheduled flight to Arusha airport. A day room has been reserved for you at the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will get some time to freshen up before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
